Access Schism; Created by Andrew Blanford on June 4, 2012 in order to understand and deconstruct Access Consciousness.
I want to be clear about a few things. I do not, under any circumstances, attempt to suggest that individuals shouldn’t live their life however they wish. If you are drawn to any religious group, spirituality center, life transformation group, large group awareness organization, Christianity, Satanism, Existentialism, Nihilism, Hedonism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism or any philosophical doctrine, “ism” or “ity” you can devise, that is your choice. I merely desire to present information and facts to you, that you may not otherwise have the ability to locate due to time constraints, resources or means. With that said; it is not cool, to lie to, to steal from, or harm other human beings. Philosophy, exploring philosophy and having a philosophy, is good. However, any philosophy that suggests you take the free will from another, is a philosophy that should be abandoned. Our focus should be an inner focus, not external control and blame.
My personal philosophy is an all encompassing philosophy of consideration, compassion, understanding, education, trust, love, truth and ever-evolving thought and opinion. I am not a label, there is not an “ism” or “ity” that fits me. I am not a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or an Anarchist. I do not subscribe to the cult of anything or anyone and I reserve the right to reject, accept or expel from my life whatever I wish, should I find it not suitable.
I was born in Illinois in 1970 (October 23, 1970 for those that may wonder about my zodiac sign, I am a Libra on the cusp) and I grew up in rural Iowa in the 80s. I have a degree in engineering from a small technical college in West Des Moines, Iowa. I moved to New York City in the summer of 2000 to work for a computer company in Manhattan and now live in beautiful Colorado and work for an engineering firm out of Munich, Germany.
I’ve had experience with and know about Access Consciousness. I took the Access Consciousness BARS class twice, I’ve read much of the material, excerpts of Gary Douglas and Dain Heer’s books and have been around Access Consciousness members. I guess I am an ex-member of sorts, although I never really thought of myself that way.
What I discovered very quickly about Access Consciousness, the Access Consciousness philosophy and it’s material is; it’s confusing, convoluted and contradictory. It appears they have designed it this way intentionally to bring out guilt and shame in order that the guilt and shame be substituted with the leaders (Gary Douglas’) “ultimate truth” the Access Consciousness truth.
Most members I’ve met are VERY nice, at least up front, and are adamant supporters as you would expect, and they will defend it to all ends.
Don’t get me wrong, I do not dispute there are some good things in Access Consciousness and other Large Group Awareness organizations, however most of the deceit and coercion you won’t discover until you are invested to the point that you don’t want to admit to yourself that you were duped. A very important point to note is; It is necessary that these groups have some enticing elements that get you to their seminars in the first place. This is a VERY IMPORTANT point to note, because it only takes a small hook to catch a big fish.
Access Schism is a place for you to gather information, vent your frustration and find people that have this information gathering instinct, frustration or confusion in common.
Access Schism is here to provide insight for those who may be considering investing in Access Consciousness, Gary Douglas and Dain Heer Access Schism is here to assist you in making an informed decision about your potential major investment in time and money. I want you to have all the information available to you before you invest your money in groups that are not really interested in you.
Spend your money frugally and thoughtfully, with a point of view and an opinion. Make a conscious choice. Stop, think, and be deliberate in your actions. Use your mind, and spend your money with people you know and trust. Spend your money with people or businesses that support your community and follow your personal values and morals. But, go with the flow.
Be aware of the possibility that Access Consciousness, any other large group awareness organization may be only interested in exploiting you and your money.
